Why is Odinga the only person really fighting against Mugabe?
Last week Robert Mugabe "won" the election run-off in Zimbabwe. All through the country there were reports of violence and harrassment as people went to vote. In any other country the un, the usa, and so many others would have gone in to remove the"dictator." Now the AU (African Union) is calling for Zimbabwe to unite. This is ridiculous, no one should be allowed to reign in terror. When asked if Zimbabwe would create a government with oversight and accountablility similar to Kenya, a rep for Robert Mugabe said, "Kenya is Kenya and Zimbabwe is Zimbabwe." Mr. Odinga the president of Kenya has spent the last few day speaking against this travesty at the AU summit but it seems his cries are falling on def ears.
